I’m a visual artist working with photography, drawing, and time-based media. I grew up in the mountains of Lebanon and spent my formative years in Beirut. I studied Environmental Health at the American University of Beirut. Later, in the US, I received a BA in Studio Art from Arizona State University, and an MFA from the University of Arizona. From the magical deserts of the Southwest, I moved to the lush forests of the Northeast. Here I’m a “visiting critic” in the Art Department at Cornell University. When I’m not teaching, I’m gallivanting and making work in foreign and familiar places . My home bases are New York and Lebanon.
